About Us

Balance & Beam Gymnastics has been trading since 2006 & are setting the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through gymnastics-based programmes. Our Parent/Child, Pre-School and Primary School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace building confidence & self-esteem.

We offer a premium, curriculum based programme with weekly themed lessons for children from 4 months – 12 years. With us being non-competitive, classes here are great fun, structured but not too strict. Every week here is different so lots of opportunity to risk take, problem solve, socialise & make new friends.

We also do half & full day Holiday / Activity Camps for 3 – 10 Year Olds during School Holidays and on Sundays as well as our classes, we host Amazing Birthday Parties too

I’m looking for sporty people who want to develop their teaching skills and gain invaluable experience along the way. Gymnastics would be advantageous but any sporty/active person would be a great addition to our team.

We’ve got the parent/child classes covered by existing staff so it would be children from 3 years through to 12 that we need assistance with.

Hours Required  – After School, Saturdays & Sundays Predominantly

Saturdays From 10.00 – 5.15pm

Sundays From 9.00am – Classes & Parties

After School Classes from 3.45pm

If you could attend our staff training sessions on Monday at 3.00 - 4.00pm that would be extremely helpful as we plan our week’s activities then.

Who Should Apply

If you are energetic, self-motivated & conscientious looking for a fun and challenging opportunity working with children then you would be perfect for the role

You would also need to be someone who’s fun, bubbly & very smiley - an ex-gymnast would be good but not essential. Having a background in child development, physical education, sports, or drama would also certainly be a plus as is customer service experience.

If you have the above attributes and/or love keeping fit yourself then this role would be great for you as full training will be given

You would need to be able to keep your energy levels up as you would be teaching back to back classes. We get very hands on with the kids, no standing on the sidelines!!
