Vacancy for Enthusiastic Gymnastics Instructor - Saturday & Weekday Evenings

Are you an energetic, self-motivated, conscientious individual seeking a fun and challenging opportunity working with children by teaching motor skill development through gymnastics based classes? If so, you may be just the person we’re looking for! (We are not a soft play centre)
The position would suit an ex-gymnast or University student looking for some evening work

Details of the Post

We are always on the look out for hard working, dependable individuals to help our business grow! Instructors will be responsible for teaching non-competitive gymnastics classes to Pre-School and Primary School age children, 

You will be working with a dynamic team of individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service and a membership experience for children and parents that is second to none.
Evenings are required from 4.00pm - 7.30pm. Full training will be provided and there are excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Delivering the high standards of our gymnastics based developmental programme.

• Know and understand our philosophy and programme

• Communicate information correctly and professionally to parents

• Conduct high quality classes whilst ensuring they are high energy and fun

• Providing excellent customer service and building student enrolment

A background in child development, physical education, sports, gymnastics or drama is certainly a plus as is customer service experience.

Balance & Beam Gymnastics has been trading since 2006 & are setting the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programmes. Our Parent/Child, Pre-School and Primary School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace building confidence & self-esteem.

Required experience:

  • Experience in gymnastics / coaching: 3 years

    Level One Qualification in Artisitic Gymnastics (or similar) would be advantageous but not essential however, knowledge of gymnastic skill progression is
